Counselling in Ashford
I offer counselling for adults and young people who may be feeling overwhelmed, disconnected from themselves or caught in patterns that feel difficult to change.
Sometimes you know something isn't working for you, but understanding why you keep going back to the same behaviour, relationship or way of coping can be much harder. You might find yourself thinking, “Why do I keep doing this?” or wondering why changing something can feel so difficult even when you really want to.
Experiences from earlier in our lives can sometimes influence how we respond to situations today, how we feel about ourselves and the ways we learn to cope when things become difficult.
Counselling gives you a space to slow things down and explore what's happening without judgement. Rather than simply focusing on the behaviour itself, we can become curious about what may be underneath it and begin to understand the patterns that have developed over time.
The aim is to help you understand yourself better, recognise what may no longer be working for you and explore different ways of coping and moving forward.
I offer face-to-face counselling, as well as online and telephone counselling, alongside group counselling.
I also support clients from surrounding areas including Staines-upon-Thames, Sunbury-on-Thames, and Bedfont.
