I support adults and young people from Hampton Hill who may feel overwhelmed, stuck or find themselves struggling with how they feel about themselves.
You may find yourself questioning whether you're good enough, comparing yourself to others or being much harder on yourself than you would ever be on someone else. Sometimes it can be difficult to understand where these feelings come from or why they're so hard to change.
The way we see ourselves can be shaped by experiences and relationships from earlier in our lives. Messages we received about ourselves, how we were treated or things we went through can sometimes stay with us and influence how we feel and cope as adults.
You may have learned to hide difficult feelings, seek reassurance from others or turn to certain behaviours for comfort or relief. Counselling can help you explore what's underneath these patterns without judgement and begin to understand yourself with greater compassion.
Together, we can look at where some of these feelings may have come from, recognise the patterns that are keeping you stuck and help you develop a more accepting relationship with yourself.
I offer counselling for adults and young people face to face, online and by telephone, alongside group counselling. I also welcome clients from Hampton, Whitton, and Feltham.
