Counselling in Laleham
I offer counselling for adults and young people who may be feeling anxious, overwhelmed, struggling with difficult experiences from the past or trying to change ways of coping that no longer feel helpful.
Making a change isn't always as simple as deciding to do something differently. You may understand that a behaviour isn't helping you but still find yourself returning to it, particularly when life feels difficult or overwhelming.
This can sometimes happen with alcohol, drugs, food, relationships or other behaviours that have become a way of coping. Rather than judging yourself or focusing only on stopping the behaviour, counselling can help you explore what may be underneath it and why letting go of certain patterns can feel so difficult.
Together, we can look at what's happening in your life now while gently exploring how earlier experiences may be influencing the way you feel and cope today. Understanding these connections can help you begin to see yourself and your behaviour with less judgement and consider what you might need instead.
I offer face-to-face counselling, as well as online and telephone counselling, alongside group counselling.
I also support clients from nearby areas including Staines-upon-Thames, Shepperton, and Chertsey.
