Counselling in Shepperton
I offer counselling for adults and young people who may be struggling with difficult emotions, feeling stuck in repeating patterns or finding themselves relying on certain behaviours to cope.
Sometimes the things we turn to for comfort or relief can begin to feel difficult to control. This might involve alcohol, drugs, food, relationships or other behaviours. You may know something isn't helping you but still find yourself wondering, “Why do I keep doing this?”
Rather than judging the behaviour or simply focusing on stopping it, counselling can give you the space to become curious about what's underneath it. Sometimes experiences from earlier in our lives can influence the ways we learn to cope, how we feel about ourselves and how we relate to other people.
Together, we can begin to understand your experiences and patterns with less judgement, explore what you may need and look at different ways of coping that feel right for you.
You don't need to have everything figured out before starting counselling. We can begin with what's happening for you now and take things at your pace.
I offer face-to-face counselling, as well as online and telephone counselling, alongside group counselling.
I also work with clients from Sunbury, Ashford, and Staines-upon-Thames.
