Counselling in Charlton Village

I offer counselling for adults and young people who may be feeling emotionally exhausted, overwhelmed or stuck in ways of coping that no longer seem to be helping.

Sometimes we keep going for a long time before recognising how much we're carrying. You may feel as though you're running on empty, becoming more easily overwhelmed or finding that things you would normally manage are becoming harder.

When this happens, we can turn to familiar ways of coping for comfort or relief. This might involve alcohol, drugs, food, relationships or other behaviours, or simply pushing difficult feelings aside and trying to carry on.

Counselling gives you the space to slow things down and begin to understand what's happening underneath. Together, we can explore what's going on for you now and, where it feels helpful, look at how earlier experiences may have shaped the ways you've learned to cope.

The aim isn't to judge how you've coped or expect you to change everything at once. It's about understanding yourself better, recognising what you need and exploring different ways of responding when life feels difficult.

I offer face-to-face counselling, as well as online and telephone counselling, alongside group counselling.
I also work with clients from Shepperton, Sunbury-on-Thames, and Ashford.
